In August of 2003 we participated in the rescue of some of the 176 chihuahuas from Baldwin Park Shelter. We agreed to take many of the harder-to-place dogs in order to work with them and rehabilitate them so the transition to a new home would be easier. Unfortunately, we still have many of these dogs, as they have proven to be truly feral. While a few are coming around, it has taken much longer than we anticipated, so we need your help to sponsor some of these kids. Just $10 a month would help to cover food, flea and tick meds, treats, dog beds, toys.
